John
Chapter 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made through Him, and nothing that has been made was made without Him.
4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men,
5 and the light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.
6 There came to be a man sent from God who had the name John.
Ephesians
Chapter 1
1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to the holy ones who are in Ephesus and faithful in Christ Jesus,
2 grace to you and peace from God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, having blessed us in every Spiritual heavenly blessing in Christ,
4 as He chose us for Himself in Him before the foundation of the cosmos to be holy and without blemish before Him, in love
5 having predestined us for adoption into Him through Jesus Christ according to the favour of His will,
1 Peter
Chapter 1
1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the chosen exiles of dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2 according to the foreknowing of Father God in sanctification of the Spirit into obedience and the sprinkling of blood of Jesus Christ, grace and peace be multiplied to you all.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy caused us to be born again into living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 to an immortal, undefiled, and unfading inheritance which is being preserved in God's dwelling-place for you
5 who are being guarded by God's power through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time
6 in which you rejoice, though right now for a while, if it's needed, having been distressed in various trials
7 so that the validity of your faith—far more valuable than gold that perishes even though it is being tested by fire—would be found in praise, glory, and honour in Jesus Christ's revelation.
